
the dan&nicks story
Friends since birth, our passion for food was instilled in our DNA. From dinners at Nona's house, to shift meals at the station, our journey into the world of food has been a lifelong endeavor. That experience culminated with the creation of our first product: dan&nicks Medium Buffalo, which is now commercially manufactured in Illinois at a USDA and FDA approved co-packaging facility.
The dan&nicks story started with a trip to Chicago's premier buffalo wing festival in 2014, where we were exposed to hundreds of buffalo wing styles, sauces, and flavors. With live music and the smell of buffalo sauce in the air, we'd excitedly run to a restaurant's booth and shout for the chef to toss us some wings while holding our bowls over everyone else's head. It was a thrill that solidified our love for this food.

Every year we'd return, and even served as judges for the Hottest Wing category one year. Those experiences eventually inspired us to experiment with making our own sauce.

Since 2018, we've been hard at work crafting the perfect sauce to accompany any meal. Starting with a small pan at home and overwhelmingly positive feedback from family and friends, we made the decision to incorporate Chicagoland Food Group, LLC in 2024 and partner with a commercial packager so we could deliver what has come to be our flagship sauce: dan&nicks Medium Buffalo.

Bottled Sauces
dan&nicks sauces are commercially manufactured and available for sale in 12oz bottles. Our sauces pair well with poultry, smoked meats, chili, mac 'n cheese, eggs, and so much more.

Chicagoland Food Group, LLC is proudly owned by emergency responders in the Chicagoland area.

As we continue to grow, we work to support police/fire/military organizations so we can give back to the community that shaped who we are today.
